Pirate Cushions was borne from wanting to give my friends 9 year old twin boys something other than toys for their birthday.

Looking for something just that little bit different, inspiration struck whilst I was reading in bed with a large cushion behind me and I thought – “Ahh I will make and give them a cushion each for when they are also reading”

With inspiration in mind, I set about finding the perfect fabric with which to make them their unique birthday gifts.

I started finding fabrics that were fun and colourful to make cushion covers with which to provide an alternative to toys, for the person who has everything, those that love something quirky, someone who wants to send something to distant friends and family other than gift cards and those “just because I’m thinking of you presents”.

I hand make all the cushion covers, check them for fit and quality prior to allowing them to be sold.

Each one is a little unique, all made with love and all made in Australia.
